The founder reached out to us at the advent of a business concept to connect start-up companies with copywriting services for content that “cuts through the noise,” across the range of blog posts, email marketing campaigns, social media, brochures, and the like. She needed assistance in creating a brand for this brainchild, starting with its name.

The Turn
The founder was at a crossroads in his career when he approached me about designing a website to support his new venture, The Turn. A change management leader with a passion for travel (he’s visited over 75 countries!), he was ready to take the same turn in his own life that he helps others make.

The founder, Kirsten Harrison, reached out to us as she completed her training as a Spiritual Director. She wished to develop a practice which allowed her to connect with individuals looking for a bit of a coach to guide them through their spiritual journey. She also wanted to have the brand support other Spiritual Directors, as she will eventually be expanding her practice to include other practitioners.

Arkeras
Arkeras is a new retail brand centered around an innovative alternative to the traditional hospital gown, both in function and in fashion. Its inspiration came from a period of grief, and the outcome is just as emotionally tied to offering a useful meaningful item that is made ethically, collaboratively, and from sustainable materials. It will be sold in select boutiques and online. Everything about it needed to be high-end.

Merrill is a new business helping homeowners enhance the design, efficiency, and customer experience of their short-term rental spaces. The team at Maxwell helped with building out and refining their brand. The brand is textured, elemental, earthy and minimal. It’s rooted & grounded, but in process and authentic about the full construction and design experience - from start to finish.
